I am proud of being a college student. I like my college life as it is so wonderful time in my youth. As being born in small village of the remote

countryside, I didn't have a good education environment. However, I set a goal and felt confident to be a college student. After hard study, I passed the

entrance examination of national college by excellent achievement. All people were proud of me, as I was the first college student in my village. I was farewell warmly by them when I came to school. I was warmly welcome by school, too. After then, I’ve felt my study is not only for myself but also for the honor of my village neighborhood and our school.

The college life is wonderful. All life in school are fresh. New teachers, new classmates and fresh friends are around me. I’ve felt their friendship, wide knowledge and opening mind. The grand library, school buildings and wide playground are very attracting to me. I am very eager to learn much knowledge quickly. In high school, I was ever called as a runner before time. Now,I know I am behind time so much in fact. I hope to catch up with the time by my hard studying. Every day, you can see me get up early, doing exercise hard and go to school the first one. At night, I am the one who leaves away the library. The most interesting thing is that I can’t speak the PUTONGHUA well and made many funny events at the beginning， as I am from South. When I entered the classroom at first time, I was headache as I couldn’t understand what the professor was speaking. I met much difficulties at math, physics and other courses, even though I used to be good at these sciences. Therefore, I learn these courses myself after class. After three months, the exmination indicated that I overcame all the difficlties. I also improved my listening and spoken ability of Chinese quickly. Communication is very important to my college life. I study English hard as well. It makes me have many chances to communicate with foreigners. I made friends with many foreign teachers and students. From them, I learn many knowledge about foreign cultures. The computer room is another place I like to staying. I contact the outside world by the internet. All the News, advance science, and the information about internal and outside of China.

Besides study, my college life is also very colorful. I’d like to take any chance to improve my communication skill. I am the monitor and playing an active role in class and school. Last year, I organized a speech match in management department. All the classmates were very interested in this kind of activity. I learned from them much about their hometown, their knowledge and opinions. At the same time, I shew my beautiful hometown to everyone. In school, I take care all the classmates around me. I am so poor due to from the romote

countryside. The school pay most the fee for my education. I feel very happy. However, I know some classmates are poorer than me. I am willing to care them and encourage each other.

My college life is long and short. I believe that I can spend a good time in the four years. I hope I will have no any regretion when I look back the short youth of college in the future.

Generation Gap

Nowadays, there is often a lack of understanding between parents and children. Children always complain that their parents are out of date, while parents can’t approve of what their children say and do. Thus, a big generation gap is formed.

The gap remains wide for many reasons. Children want to be free to choose their own friends, select their own classes in school, plan their own future, earn and spend their own money, and generally run their own life in a more independent way than many parents allow. Also, young children wish to be understood by their parents, but most parents don’t quite understand their children. They regard it as their responsibility to teach their offspring traditional beliefs. They want them to be obedient and do well in school. Therefore, misunderstanding often arise from parents’ tendency to interfere in children’s daily activities.

In my opinion, most problems between parents and children could be solved by joint efforts of both sides to enhance mutual understanding.

Generation gap is a concept which means a lack of understanding and communication between parents and children. Children always complain that their parents do not understand them while parents worry about their children's behaviours and ideas.

Why does there exist a generation gap between the children and the parents? Firstly, people who live in different time have different viewpoints towards social customs and tradition. For example, parents who were born in 1950's are very surprised at the fashion in 1990's. Secondly, the parents and children seldom sit down together to talk or communicate with each other equally. If they do so, the gap will be narrowed, If not, it will widen. In most cases, the parents often blame the children's behaviour or style of clothes instead of caring about their thoughts. Thirdly, the children want to be more independent, but the parents still want to take children under their wings.

To ease the problem and bridge the generation gap, parents should treat their children as friends and try to understand the feelings and thoughts of the young. Meanwhile, children should respect their parents and think of the

problems from their parents'viewpoint. Furthermore, the parents should keep study and catch up with the development of the fashion. In this way, they will understand their children's behaviour. Work together, the problem will be solved.

How to be a successful in life

Being successful means different hings for different people according to their positions, age, status and many things. There is no guaranteed and

scientific tips or formula for a person to be successful in life. But things may change drastically if you consider something that are important and also you can apply them easily in your life. I regularly write post on this blog about how to be successful in life in general and in this post also I am writing about some tips to lead you to the path of success. 1. Give time for yourself:

It is very much important for you to give at least 5 minutes a day to think about yourself; what do you want to be in life, what are your plus points, what things you should have to change to go to the forward direction so that you wouldn't have to face a big problem in the future, how can you achieve your goal etc. 2. Set your goal:

Although it is believed that you can do anything in life if you tried, this concept may not be true in some case. For example, if you are a simple businessman with your own small business and you are saying that you would be as much rich as Bill Gates in one year, then this is quite impossible and impractical. Rather you should set this target a long term one for term or more years and definitely you may do that. This is not impossible. So set your goal according to your capacity and situation. Give a definite suitable time period to chase that target and work accordingly. So that you will not face any big trouble and can complete your work in given time. After setting your time be focused to your goal .

3. Believe in yourself:

It always depend on yourself whether you will be successful or not. If you think that you are capable to get that target and should do that then certainly you can do that. No one or nothing will stop you from being winner. Develop

strategies which make you more aware of yourself and what you are capable of achieving, if you believe in yourself and what you are capable of achieving then you are more likely to be successful in whatever you do. 4. Work according to the situation:

If you feel some problem while doing your work to your goal then it will be better for you to change that style or place if it hampers with your target or even life in some case. A change could mean changing your outlook on life, your outlook on yourself, your priorities or your activities, you have no one else to blame but yourself and only you have the power to change. 5. Be positive

Always do things you are doing positively. This adds more energy in you to do that work. Try to calculate positive and negative side of the thing you are doing. If there are some problems in near future, then be ready to solve that. Enjoy with what you are doing whatever smaller or bigger the work you are doing may be

How to make a good impressin.

First impression is always the most important thing when you meet a stranger.It takes just a quick glance, maybe three seconds, for someone to understand you when you meet for the first time. In this short time, the other person forms an opinion about you based on your appearance,your manners and even your behaviours that tell them what type of person you are and your characteristics.

So, whether they are in your career or social life, it’s important to know how to create a good first impression.To make a good impression,we have to have deep confidence in ourselves.If you are calm and confident, the other person will feel more at ease and this makes a solid foundation of a good first

impression. The next thing is your appearance.Although physical appearance seems to be more important nowadays, don't get upset if you are not born pretty/handsome.Try presenting yourself appropriately, start with the way you dress.Dress for occasions, do not dress for your own mood.Make sure that you look clean and tidy as this help to make a good impression.

Well, the most important thing is a smile.“Smile and the world smiles too.” A warm and confident smile will put both you and the other person at ease.You have to look sincere and true while you are smiling.When it comes to making the first impression, body language as well as appearance speaks much louder than words.Thus, stand tall, smile (of course), make eye contact, greet with a firm handshake. All of this will help you project confidence and encourage both you and the other person feel better at ease.

Conversations should be short and sweet.Don't talk non-stop as this makes the other person bored. Try to find something common between the two of you to talk so as to keep it flowing.

Your attitude is also what counts in a good impression.Stay positive, courteous and don't start criticising people or make sarcastic comments because this will spoil your image.

My parents' love for me

The most significant and priceless thing on earth for me is my parent's love .It's pure , and not for any benefit .If I have to compare it to one similar thing ,crystal may be the best one, because of the value and characteristic. My dear parents! Think of the beforetime , your stern requirement is

exaction in my eyes; your deep solicitude is seen to be wagging your tongue by me; and I actually think your industry and thrift to be parsimony. I have realized my extreme fault , so I feel very guilt .I'm here to beg your forgiving me. If it was not for you, I would no way have received such great achievement ！It's you and your help, like god, you are my own personal brand of memory.

Thank you very much for your selfless giving, my dear ones, I will spend my whole lifetime in remembering my parents, never forgetting. Wish them happiness forever! 父母对我的爱
