The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Hello, everyone! Now it is my turn to give you my presentation. First, let’s see some pictures. I think someone may know the name of this film. So the film I want to tell that is “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. Which in Chinese is called《返老还童》.
This film is directed by David Fincher(大卫.芬奇), and the leading role of this film is called Benjamin Button. Who is acted by Brad Pitt. Here I want to say that Pitt is one of my favorite foreign actors. As he is not only handsome, but also with good acting(演技). What’s more, he is a warm-hearted man who does lots of charity(做了很多的慈善).
This film is about the whole lifetime of Benjamin. He is very strange. When he is born, he looks like an old man. As he grows up, he becomes younger and younger. So he grows backwards(倒着生长), this is really incredible.
When Benjamin is born, because of his ugly appearance, His father, who is so cruel that he abandons Benjamin. Fortunately, a woman who works in the nursing home(养老院)adopts him.
When Benjamin is in his childhood(But he looks like an old man), he meets a girl named Daisy. They become good friends.

When Benjamin is 17, he leaves the girl to battle the world(闯荡世界). No matter where he is, he sents postcards to Daisy. When they meet again, they are both twenties, but Benjamin looks like fifties (50多岁的外貌). So Benjamin rejects her.
When they are both forties, they come together and have a daughter. This is the happiest time they have ever had. But withing Benjamin grows younger and younger. Finally, he chooses to leave before his daughter can remember him. Because he knows that what his daughter needs is not a playmate, Daisy can’t raise two children. He can’t give his daughter a normal family.
Though he leaves his daughter and Daisy, he posts cards to his daughter Wherever he is. What represents his deep love to his daughter.
At last, the seventies Benjamin back to the nursing home. He looks like a child and has suffered Alzheimer’s disease(老年痴呆症). Daisy finds him and brings Benjamin home. They live together until Benjamin become a baby and can’t speak. At last, Benjamin dies quietly in Daisy’s arms(怀中).
When I finish watching this film, I feel so sad and frustration(无奈). I feel so sorry about the situation between

This film is ,seemingly ridiculous, but it has profound significance(深刻的意义). It makes us to think, not only love, but also life. There is always something that we should remember for the rest of our life. No matter what changes, love doesn’t change. Love is the thing can last. We can’t control the start and the end of our life. Sometimes we even can’t control the process. AS we never know what is coming for us. No one can tell the significance of life, but the only thing I know is: Living in the moment, facing the life, treasuring the possession, enjoying the scenery and comprehending the truth.
