摘要：A system and method for implementing a configurable security monitorutilizing an integrated information portal. A premises server (32) is in communication witha variety of information sources (34, 36) that produce monitoring data for a definedmonitoring target, such as a premises. The premises server (32) transmits the monitoringdata to a central server (56) that receives the data and traverses one or more logical rulesets to determine whether the inputted data violates the rules. The rules are generallyspecified by a user, such as a system administrator to define the level of monitoringdesired and an appropriate response in the evaluation of the monitoring data against therule. Based on an evaluation of the rules, the central server then generates outputs in theform of communication to one or more authorized users via a variety of communicationmediums and devices and/or the instigation of a variety of acts.
