(1) 一般过去时 一般过去时：一般过去时表示过去某个时间里发生的动作或状态；过去习惯性、经常性的动作、行为。 

in+已经过去的年份 ( in 1998 ) last week / month / year…





句中be动词的变化 am/is → was are → were be 句型的过去时

I was a student seven years ago. But now I am a teacher.
