Two Chinese citizens are dead in the Asiana Airlines crash landing at San Francisco airport Saturday, media reports.

According to Xinhua News Agency, South Korea's transportation ministry said Sunday that both passengers confirmed dead in the crash were identified to be Chinese women.

\"We verified through the foreign ministry that all the two dead are Chinese and they are all women,\" a senior official at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport was quoted by Yonhap News Agency as saying.

An official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the U. S. authorities will announce details on identifications of the dead later.

One hundred and forty-one Chinese citizens were among the 291 passengers aboard the Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 passenger plane originated from Seoul, the Republic of Korea (ROK), diplomats with the Chinese Consulate General said.

The plane crashed upon landing and burned partly at San Francisco International Airport, California of the United States, with parts spread on the runway.(It is the reason of this accident)
